Thank you!!! Come again!!!!!!

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle has to be one of the funniest movies I have seen recently...if you can appreciate the kind of humor in movies like Airplane,The American Pie series, The Naked Gun series, the Scarey Movie series or then Dude Where's my Car?...........bossy then you gotta go and see this.......its a cut above the rest.......

managed to catch a sneak preview on the Akron U campus last evening.........took along a buddy from work...right after the movie we spent a couple of hours laughing over the move over some beers and then all day at work we have been doing the same....repeating dialogs, remembering the funny parts which is basically the entire movie......Kal Penn as Kumar has done a great job......his sense of timing with the dialogs is really awesome.....John Cho as Harold does a very great job too playing the quieter of the duo.........all in all with the humor and the insane things that happen to the two of them in that one night and all the cameos...this one is definitely worth the money.....though I did not pay to watch it.....but I am pretty sure I'm gonna end up seeing a couple if times before I go out and buy the DVD that day it is released.....and if you wanna know what the title of this post means....go watch the movie!!!!

In the meantime the house hunt continues...hopefully should reach a conclusion by the end of this weekend or early next week.........off to Columbus this evening to meet up witha chaddi dost from school and engineering days in Pune.....

24th July....Saturday night......
venue: Torrey Porch..........

12 pounds of chicken marinated in the ohhhhh so famous 'khatri' style........16 gallons of chilled MGD.........an assortment of other food for the 'veggie' people.......some marinated onions and green peppers..........potatoes wrapped in foil waiting to be baked and some corn too.....Vicky's laptop loaded with some good desi musi.......big speakers

If I really had to describe every bit of the party.........I'd have very sore fingers and you would be jealous..hell ya!!!!!

So lets stick to the highlights.......by doin that I keep my fingers in shape...so that they can be used for other interesting things........but you still end up being jealous like hell....yeah !!!! I knwo I am harami to the core.....

B'day gifts that night......a few shot glasses......some very funny cards....

Food....hmmm......all the komdya that were sacrificed to keep us happy..well lets just say that they were not sacrificed in vain......

Midnight......well this is not gonna make you green.....rather I ended up being yellow, pink, brown and white  thanks to maple syrup, chocloate sauce, ranch dressing, mustard sauce, rose syrup all nicely placed on a base of MGD.........ohhh and thanks to Vicky at 10 minutes past 12 we had one less 22 pound ice bag........so anyone who had to drink warm beer later 'cause we did not have enough to put in the keg jacket....you know where all those choicest gaalis need to be directed.......

Pictures prove that I did have one helluva party......though some Akron peeps did have a big hand in the final result.....and some things that made it feel like a Torrey party was to see apna ol' roomie N come down for the weekend from Michigan.......and play the basuri song......and watch junta dance like crazy........

Other highlights included going onto theroof through that window ,in what used to be Adi's room..........sliding down the stairs (dont remember whom I asked to give me company when I did that)........

Itna danga kiya fir bhi sala cops nahi aya......I so wanted them to come and tell us reduce the noise......it has happened at most Torrey parties.....

I think I am sticking to my motto...." Hence the fcuk forth...we shall rock the fcuk on!!!!"

My cousin mailed today...and in between those numerous mails we were sending back and forth ...he mentioned that he heard from another cousin that I bought a bike....and then he ended the mail asking me if I have any shaadi plans........

I replied....

Abhi paisa kharch kiya na bike pe.....ab biwi afford nahi kar sakta hain......choice tha......bike ya biwi.......obviously I went in for the wiser choice......also knowing very well that if i 'ride' another bike ......even then apna bike won't complain....

There I just found one reason why bikes are better than women!!!! ...any more????????

Played basketball after ages.......had pretty much forgotten how much fun it can be.....

Had got myself some Monty Python DVD's...managed to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail over the weekend......among other things British....their comedy kicks ass.....other things being....BBC radio....the accent....football....and fish and chips.....BBC radio cha nantar 96.5 KISSFM cha Valentine gela udat ani 102.1 FM chi Delilah ahe na...ticha shutter down honar....I wish:)...

Re-obsessed (wonder if this is actually a word) with Kill Bill Vol.1 and 2 ka soundtrack....I have said this before....and I shall say this again....Quentin Tarantino is GOD!!!!! ohhhh and so is Sachin Bhai.......irrespective of what he does on the field......and no Brijesh...I was not refering to Akron CC ka Sachin Bhai:)

There is a guy lying dead in a pool of milk surrounded by cornflakes and has a banana shoved up his ass.......The detective arrives at the scene and stares at the body for a while and then writes this in his notebook...." Looks like the job of a cereal killer"

I have become ........ comfortably numb

Tuesday, July 13, 2004

The Chris Moyles Show on Radio 1 on BBC radio rocks.......

Turning 25...the only advantage I can think of is....lower car insurance rates........anything else you can think of?????

I salute Michelob Ultra.....the smoothest beer since MGD......and added benefit being its a low carb beer for all you carb conscious junta.....maybe I should check if I can get a keg for the farewell party at Torrey on the 24th of July.....

Though if you dont like MGD or Michelob Ultra, I strongly suggest you BYOB...can't yet decide if I should marinate some chicken and other stuff......too much effort.....

The house hunt continues........in the meantime I think my heart is set on this...a few things to be looked into though before I make the final decision.....

Kinda feel like this

Girl: What're you rebelling against, Johnny?
Johnny: Whaddya got?

Johnny being the great Marlon Brando in 'The Wild One'

No wonder all the Canon SLR's I own are Rebel's (REBEL G, REBEL 2000 and REBEL digital)....ok bad joke...:)

Later Gator, in a while Crocodile...and I'm sure someone said 'see ya soon Baboon' before I did.....ughhhh!!!!

Drummond and me were walking out of the office building last evening......engaged in a casual conversation about motorcycles......and Stanley joined in....and as we are walking out of the door.....Stanley concludes the conversation by telling Drummond....." Puneri is more American than you are!!!".......now I wonder if that is a compliment......I would like to ponder more on this...but then for the moment i'll just sign off here.....
