Super Bowl XXXVII....1/26/03...Oakland Raiders vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

late third quarter the bucs lead the raiders by 34-3.....looks bad for the raiders and their fans ........one of them would be me .......since my team, the Cleveland Browns did not make it beyond the 1st round of the playoffs...which in itself is an achievemant of sorts for the BROWNS at this stage.......late comback begins and the raiders score 2 touchdowns and one soon thereafter...sometime in the forth quarter the score reads 34-21 in favor of the bucs.....and i see some hope.......hope that the raiders will oversome the remaining defecit and post a win and in the process i get to witness one of the greatest games ever...so its all a question of HOPE......

sometimes i wonder abt all the things 'HOPE' makes us do........we hope for good...some hope for bad.......some hope the will find love someday....some hope they can just run away........but hope is something that keeps us going......when things look down...we turn to hope.....but how many times do we truly work towrads getting something we want..rather than just leave it all to some good ol' fashioned hoping........who am i to say anything when i myself indulge in one of the most popular pastimes of mankind.........

like morgan freeman said in "The Shawshank Redemption"......let me tell you something, my friend. hope is a dangerous thing. hope can drive a man insane. it's got no use on the inside. better get used to that idea.

no hope against hope this time.........Tampa Bay Buccaneers creamed the Oakland Raiders 48-21

I hope the BROWNS win the SUPER BOWL next year..........
