Sala yeh Ohio ka Bureau of Motor Vehicles ne apne se bahut paisa liya in the last month or so......

To begin with 89 odd dollars for the renewal of the Jetta ka plates...then renewal of driver license which was 24 dollars....then title transfer for the Katana....another 52 dollars and now I have to get the plates for the bike...whihc will cost me 89 odd dollars if I want a personalized plate ...or else 50 odd dollars for the regular ones......so basically all the money I will be saving on car insurance 'cause I turned 25...sala ek hi jhatke mein OHIO BMV ne le liya......kasam se le liya:)

The old man and woman come next week to vist their ik lauta beta.......need to get the house in shape...which it pretty much is......but then get the gaadi cleaned.....they would be in for a shock if they saw the gaadi and realize that I practically live out of it....their visit has put the plans for the second tatoo on hold.......vaisa bhi apan un dono ko kaafi shock karta hain...I think they could do without this.....they wya I am....I think I actually am a 'dokyala taap' for them.....

Have 10 minutes to decide now...on the way to the BMV office...whether to get the personalized plate for the bike...or not.....I'm outta here

This was something that really amused and amazed me .....during my trip to San Francisco in May last year....I visted the UC Berkeley campus with Sujit.....and I came across this parking sign.....which said 'Reserved for NL'........fir mereko Sujit bola....NL stands for Nobel Laureates .....something unique this one....not to be found in most universities.....

This picture was taken at the Headland Dunes State Nature Reserve or commonly called Headland State Park...picked from a set of about 25-30 pictures taken over a period of approximately 15-20 minutes just as the sun was coming out of that cloud and setting over Lake Erie...the pictures taken that weekend at the beach along with the pictures I took in NYC over the 4th July weekend gave me the 'satisfied' feeling.......made me realize that the Canon Digital Rebel SLR was well worth every cent....

Signing the lease for the new place today.....which means this shall be my last weekend at Torrey......was talkin to Bhai the other day....he saw the b'day snaps and was generally talking about the good ol' Akron days.....a partial transcript of the chat.....

425 Sumner (the big daddy) and 277 Torrey (the prodigy that did not disappoint)...I bow down to you'll......there never was...never is ...and never will be anything that can match those rockin' times.......those who disagree....LIC...gele udat (Puneri arrogance at its best)

This part of apna favorite song describes it best.....

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind.
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time.
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial.
For what it's worth, it was worth all the while.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

Though i told Bhai that it was the last party at Torrey....maybe there is still scope for one last one.....not over till the Fat Lady croaks.....Vicky......sunra na meri baat???????
